DIRECT RECYCLING OF FLUE GAS RESIDUES

The NEUTREC^® process is used in various industrial processes, outside the framework of incineration, in order to neutralise acid flue gases. Several of these manufacturing processes permit the direct recycling of the RSCs:

• in secondary metal manufacturing, the RSCs can be substituted for raw materials in the melted salts bath
• in glass making, sodium sulphate, which is a major component of the RSCs, can be recycled as refining agent in the raw material. 

Other possibilities:

Recycling of Residual Sodium Chemicals in the production of sodium carbonate (double filtration).

Recycling of Residual Sodium Chemicals  (single filtration).

Valorisation of all the flue gas cleaning residues: REVASOL pilot.
