Thermal stations

Urban heating stations operate on a seasonal basis and therefore need simple flue gas treatment with low investment. The simplicity and low equipment requirements of the NEUTREC^® process meet this demand.

Heating stations consume large quantities of fuel in the form of coal, fuel oil and gas. The emissions they produce contain gaseous pollutants (essentially sulphur and nitrogen oxides) and dust.

Performance of sodium bicarbonate:
Bicarbonate effectively neutralises the sulphur oxides (SOx) generated by this technology and easily meets the emission limit values which will be recommended by the new legislation scheduled for this activity.
