Cement works |
Using NEUTREC® technology, one can considerably reduce the SOx emissions from cement works and to recycle the residues from the sodium bicarbonate cleaning process in the furnace, whilst respecting the specific limits set by European Directive 2000/76/EC for the incineration and co-incineration of municipal and industrial waste. See the European legislation

Cement manufacturing involves large volumes of raw materials (lime, clay, schist and marl).
The use of substitute fuel (tyres, different types of meal, waste-derived fuels) in cement works is an essential parameter of waste management policy at the European level. The benefits lie in the reduced consumption of non-renewable fuels and maximum recovery of the energy provided by waste.
The polluting emissions consist essentially of dust, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
