The NEUTREC^® flue gas cleaning process, with BICAR^® sodium bicarbonate makes it possible to comply with the most stringent emission value limits, with a relatively low reagent consumption.

Respecting the most stringent legislation
For example, the NEUTREC^® process makes it possible to respect :

• the new European directive 2000/76/EC on the incineration of hazardous waste (except for the NOx limits, for which a proper device is forseen. For more information please see deNOx)   
• German decree 17.BlmSchV on the incineration of waste and similar combustibles (except for the NOx limits);
• French decree of 10.10.96 on specialist installations and installations for co-incinerating certain special forms of industrial waste.

Low consumption of reagent
Where the installation is designed and managed to NEUTREC^® process guidelines, all the above-quoted performances can be achieved with reduced stoichiometric excesses, typically below 25%.
