1/ To what extent does the Resolest project meet your expectations ?

The incineration of solid waste, decided by «SIEVD», is part of a project aiming at the utmost recycling of waste. The RESOLEST platform assures, together with the energetic valorization of the Rungis plant, the recycling of flue gas cleaning residues containing sodium bicarbonate at lower costs. This solution allows us to combine both environmental and economical aspects.

2/ Do you think this is a sustainable solution ?

The French legislation is turning more and more towards the prohibition of dumping non-ultimate waste onto landfill sites. Thanks to RESOLEST that the flue gas cleaning residues coming from sodium bicarbonate become recyclable and are not stocked anymore indefinitely in landfills during indeterminate periods. This is why we consider the service a sustainable solution, allowing our collectivity to forestall the future.

3/ How do you consider your collaboration with SOLVAY ?

We expect a commercial and a technical partnership between us and our suppliers.  SOLVAY's NEUTREC^® team assists us in the follow-up of our orders and supplies, and provides precious support by offering technical advice on the product as well as on how to run the installation. We have particularly appreciated the collaboration offered by SOLVAY's staff during the start-up of our new flue gas cleaning units.
